Recent total-compensation changes require date checking

Kansas raised several total-compensation limits effective July 1, 2024. KDOL’s historical table lists the applicable amounts by accident period, including permanent total disability, temporary or permanent partial disability, death, funeral expense and unauthorized medical care. Do not combine a current weekly rate with an older total cap.

Permanent impairment and work-disability calculations need medical ratings, statutory schedules and factual findings that are outside a weekly TTD/TPD estimator.
