Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Calculator 2026
Estimate temporary total or temporary partial disability using the injury-year maximum and Oklahoma’s separate wage-loss limits.
Estimate Oklahoma TTD or TPD
Oklahoma TTD generally pays 70% of AWW
Temporary total disability applies when a compensable injury temporarily prevents the worker from performing the regular job or suitable alternative work offered by the employer. The weekly calculation is 70% of the legally established average weekly wage, limited by the state average weekly wage for the calendar year of injury.
For an injury during 2026, the published TTD maximum is $1,128.66. Oklahoma does not publish a TTD minimum in the weekly compensation chart, so the calculator does not force a low wage into an artificial minimum.
TPD has two additional restrictions
Temporary partial disability may apply when the worker cannot perform the regular job but can perform alternative work for less pay. Section 45 first calculates 70% of the weekly difference. It then requires the alternative-work wage to be below the TTD rate and prevents actual earnings plus TPD from exceeding that TTD rate.
For example, if AWW is $1,000, the TTD rate is $700. With $500 in alternative-work wages, 70% of the wage loss is $350, but wages plus benefit may not exceed $700. The estimate is therefore limited to $200, not $350.
Recent maximums supported by the calculator
| Injury year | TTD/PTD maximum |
|---|---|
| 2026 | $1,128.66 |
| 2025 | $1,083.46 |
| 2024 | $1,038.31 |
| 2023 | $986.86 |
The injury date controls the applicable maximum. A later statewide wage increase does not automatically re-rate an older claim.
What this estimate cannot decide
The result assumes the entered AWW and post-injury wage are the figures legally accepted in the claim. It cannot decide employee status, compensability, medical restrictions, whether alternative work was validly offered, concurrency of wages, offsets, overpayments, the first three unpaid days, duration, maximum medical improvement or a Commission order.
How long can TTD continue?
The general statutory ceiling is 156 weeks. An administrative law judge may allow up to 52 additional weeks for a consequential injury when the required medical showing is made. Shorter special limits can apply to particular injuries.
How long can TPD continue?
Section 45 limits temporary partial disability to 52 weeks.
Does post-injury pay always produce TPD?
No. The alternative-work wage must be below the TTD rate, and all medical, work-status and claim requirements must also be satisfied.
